Joshua Tom joined the ACLU of Mississippi as Staff Attorney before being promoted to Legal Director. Prior to joining the ACLU of Mississippi, Joshua was in private practice doing corporate litigation.
Tabuthia Bell began at the ACLU of Mississippi in December 2013 as Finance Officer. Prior to the ACLU, she worked at Dewitt Sullivan, CPA and Bruno & Tervalon, LLP. Tabuthia is a graduate of Alcorn State University.
Jensen Luke Matar joined the ACLU of Mississippi in July 2018 as the Transgender Education & Advocacy Program (TEAP-MS) Coordinator, but he isn’t new to the organization.
Brian A. McCoy Sr. joined the ACLU of Mississippi as an Advocacy Intern in 2019 before getting a promotion to Advocacy Coordinator. Now he focuses on the affiliate’s criminal justice reform, voter rights, and legislation policy. He is a native of Jackson, MS.
Cynthia Goodloe Palmer joined the ACLU of Mississippi in July 2018 as the Director of Operations and Administration. Cynthia also serves as the Executive Director of the Veterans of the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement, Inc and as the Secretary of the SNCC Legacy Project Board.
Landon Thames joined the ACLU of Mississippi as a Staff Attorney in July 2018. He is a native of Monticello, MS. Prior to joining the ACLU, he worked in a general practice firm, specializing in family law. While working in general practice, Landon discovered his calling to help those in need.
