Shaping Fair and Equitable Systems

The Equitable Access to Social Services for Everyone (EASSE) initiative is working to ensure that all Mississippians can access the benefits and support they need. We’re gathering experiences from individuals and families across the state — whether you received assistance, were denied benefits, or faced barriers in the process — to identify where systems fall short and how they can be improved.

Our initiative, Equitable Access to Social Services for Everyone (EASSE) is statewide effort designed to gain valuable insight into your experience with using SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and Child Care Payment Vouchers. Your feedback will help us better understand how these programs are working for you and identify areas where improvements can be made. We are looking to hear all experiences, including current and former recipients or those who applied for benefits and were denied.

We invite you to share your experience by completing our survey. Your feedback is voluntary and completely confidential. Responses will only be reported in group form, never tied to any individual. The survey takes just 10–15 minutes to complete. Please take a few moments to add your voice here:

If you have questions or need assistance, please reach out to Mary-Catherine McCreary at mcmccreary@aclu-ms.org.
