JACKSON, Miss.—Yesterday, the Mississippi House of Representatives passed HCR 11, a resolution that proposes a new ballot initiative process that would greatly limit the scope of initiatives brought by citizens. HCR now moves to the Senate.
LEXINGTON, Miss. – Today, the ACLU of Mississippi and the international law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP filed a lawsuit against Sam Dobbins, the former Chief of Police of the Lexington, Mississippi Police Department, and against Charles Henderson, the current Chief of Police of the Lexington, Mississ
