JACKSON, Miss. - Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on November 20th that honors the memory of transgender individuals who were victims of anti-transgender violence. It also serves as a day of awareness to the hate crimes endured by transgender individuals. The Human Rights Campaign, ACLU of Mississippi, the TRANS program, Capital City Pride, Millsaps College, and several community faith leaders will hold a service and reception this Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Millsaps College Chapel in observance of the day.  

WHO: Human Rights Campaign, ACLU of Mississippi, the TRANS Program, Capital City Pride, Millsaps College, and several community faith leaders.

WHAT: The groups will hold a service and reception on Transgender Day of Remembrance, an annual observance of transgender individuals who were victims of anti-transgender violence.

WHEN: Saturday, November 20, 2021, 5-7 p.m. A reception will follow the service.
