Sherrin A. Roberts, a native of Clarke County, MS, is an alumnus of Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. She received her Bachelor of Accountancy degree in December 2003 and Masters of Taxation degree in December 2004. Ms. Roberts began her professional career as an auditor for the Department of Defense in Northern Virginia. She then went on to become employed at KPMG LLP in Washington, DC where she performed work at various government agencies, including the Department of Defense and Department of Justice, as an auditor and consultant. Ms. Roberts subsequently worked at Grant Thornton LLP and a smaller accounting firm in Northern Virginia.

In August 2013, Ms. Roberts began working at Family Health Center, Inc. (FHC) in Laurel, MS, and became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to the organization in 2014. Family Health Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) whose mission is to provide quality, comprehensive primary healthcare services to the medically uninsured and underserved patient population in Jones, Jasper, Smith, Wayne, and Clarke counties of southeastern Mississippi. As CFO, she is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for all financial operations at FHC’s locations, which includes the Main Clinic in Laurel, MS, and locations in Taylorsville, Sandersville, and Waynesboro, MS.

In the summer of 2019, Ms. Roberts participated in and graduated from the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program (HCEP) in Los Angeles, CA. In her spare time, Ms. Roberts loves to read and to serve as musician and choir director at local churches.
