Students have Constitutionally protected rights.
But if students and parents don't know those rights and how to stand up for them, students rights are vulnerable to abuse by school districts. That's why the ACLU of Mississippi created this students' rights manual, to educate and empower students to know their rights and stand up for their rights.

Study and learn it so that you will know your rights in school. You can also help protect your friends' rights in school by giving them a copy.
Remember, the U.S. Constitution doesn't end at the doors of your school. You have rights 24/7, wherever you go. It's your job to know those rights and stand up for them.
