The ACLU of Mississippi is seeking a passionate Videographer/Storyteller!
We are looking for the right individual to produce our Trans Storytelling Project, leading all areas of development from pre-production to post-production.
Compensation:
This is a granted-funded project. Compensation will depend on experience and budget.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include pre-production planning, operating cameras and lighting during shoots, capturing excellent footage, and post-production editing, including adding music, graphics, and special effects. This person will collaborate with clients and teams, ensure technical proficiency with equipment, and manage The Trans Storytelling project to meet creative and client objectives, in alignment with the ACLU of Mississippi's mission.
Qualifications:
The qualifed candidate should have:
- Have a keen eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and proficiency in videography techniques.
- Translate complex ideas and information into compelling visual narratives that engage and resonate with audiences.
- Have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients.
- Ability to research and gather information to build compelling narratives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interview subjects for this project.
- Portfolio or body of work examples
