Prior to joining the ACLU, Neely worked with the Oxford Eagle, the Mississippi Free Press, and the University of Mississippi Office of Development. She also worked to  develop the visual identity of several student-led advocacy campaigns, including the #UMoveTheStatue campaign, and served as the Vice President of Communications for RebelTHON, a student organization that has raised over $1 million for Children’s of Mississippi.
